Where Spott is strong

Spott is a newer agency platform with matching at the core rather than added later. Automated matching, meeting notes, outreach drafting and recommendations are included in every plan, and the only metered extra is enrichment credits for contact data. The headline use case is waking up the records you already hold: waterfall enrichment of email, phone and LinkedIn details, and profiles that update from conversations and outside data. Pro adds automations, multi-channel sequences, a marketing suite and data enrichment. Migration is done in house, four weeks is typical, with named paths from Bullhorn, Vincere, JobAdder, Loxo and Recruiterflow. Spott is hosted in the EU by default, ISO 27001 certified, and says customer data is never used to train models. A firm that needs EU hosting, or has a large dormant database to revive, should look at it closely.

Where Demure fits better

  • People you have never seen. Spott enriches the records you hold and publishes no candidate index. Demure's Scout searches a licensed index of nearly 900 million profiles, ranks them with a reason, and keeps them in the Talent Library.
  • One price. Spott puts automations, sequences, the marketing suite and enrichment on Pro, at $199 annual or $249 monthly, with contact data billed on top. Demure is $79 with everything included. Twenty contact lookups a month are included, then $0.25 each or a subscription.
  • Start today. Spott's trial runs through a demo or an onboarding form. Demure's demo is live on the site, and signup is a form with no card.
  • The client step. A branded Hiring Room where a hiring manager reviews a shortlist and requests interviews without an account.
  • Import in an afternoon. Spott's migration is thorough and takes about four weeks. Bring candidates and clients into Demure by CSV the same day.

How to evaluate the switch

  1. Ask where new candidates come from. Enrichment improves the records you hold. An index finds the people you have never seen.
  2. Price the plan with sequences and automations, then ask what enrichment credits cost on top of it.
  3. Compare the monthly price with the annual one if you will not sign for a year. Spott publishes both.
  4. Ask for the migration timeline in weeks, and whether it is billed.
  5. Put a recruiter, not an admin, in front of the product for ten minutes.

Common questions

Does Spott have a candidate index?
